Model Removal is in Progress

Hello, upstair studios and lower level hallways are being cleaned out today, this means all remaining models and wood mass timber details are being removed.

The models shown in the photo above currently in the Glynn + Bri studio will be removed on Wednesday. Please remove any models you want saved asap.

Tutorial: InDesign

Hi all – I have uploaded a new tutorial for you here.

Note that around 21:30, I said “carriage return” several times when I meant “indent” or “tab” (the indent at the beginning of a paragraph). If this term is unfamiliar to you: “Carriage return” refers to what happens when you hit “enter” in the text box and is a throwback to the days of the typewriter.

Drawings Due Today – Model Shop Policy Reminder

Please ensure your drawings are submitted to your Professor by 6 PM today ( end of studio ). Add your name to the back of ALL fifteen ( 15 ) drawings.

Also, as a reminder, our model shop cannot accommodate 112 students fabricating their models within the shop over the next two and a half days. Please utilize the shop to cut your materials as needed – and then return to studio for fabrication.

InDesign Template

Hi all, Several of you have requested an InDesign template for the final review, so I’ve created one and it should be making its way to your shortly via your studio instructor. In the meantime, a workaround is to insert each page of the AI file into InDesign to place your AI files into, which should lag less than using the Place feature in AI itself. When using InDesign, be sure to export to high-quality PDF before printing (and make sure you don’t get any errors related to broken links when you do)!!
